Intricate Edwardian, High Necked Cotton and Lace Panelled Gown
Intricate Edwardian, High Necked Cotton and Lace Panelled Gown
This is a fully original Edwardian cotton gown dating from around 1910. It has fabulous fine lace paneling which gives beautiful sheer elements to the design, highlighting the waist and other delicate details. It has beautiful sleeves that have a slight volume to the top and lace panel detail.
An additional cotton ruffle has been added to the bottom of the gown to add length and give a train at the back.
As with all of our antique lace gowns, this gown is a totally unique piece, made by hand, by Jane. All of our antique pieces are one of a kind, made of textiles that are up to around 120 years old, so cannot be replicated.
