Antique, Tape Lace Panelled Gown
Antique, Tape Lace Panelled Gown
This fabulous tape lace gown is totally made from one large single piece, of original antique lace, dating from around 1920. It has wonderful tape lace detailing and a large tulle area in the skirt, which gives some light and softness to the gown. The openness of the lathe on the back gives a beautiful effect when worn as you see the contrast of skin through it, highlighting the details in the design. It has a dramatic train and structured bodice, which creates an incredibly flattering silhouette on all body types.
As with all of our antique lace gowns, this gown is a totally unique piece, made by hand, by Jane. All of our antique pieces are one of a kind, made of textiles that are up to around 120 years old, so cannot be replicated.
